About
Andrew Sorrell first won election as Alabama’s state auditor in November 2022, winning 85% of the vote against his only opponent—a Libertarian candidate since no Democrats ran for the office. Prior to this, he served as a state representative from 2018–22.
Sorrell earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of North Alabama in 2006. As an entrepreneur, he co-founded Infinity College Textbooks, owned Gold, Guns, and Guitars, and worked in real estate investment.
Sorrell has been affiliated with the Colbert County Republican Executive Committee and the Alabama Republican State Executive Committee, and is next up for reelection in 2026
