Now in his second term, Curt Meier has served as Wyoming’s state treasurer since 2019 and is next up for reelection in 2026
Prior to being elected treasurer, Meier was a state senator for 24 years, holding office from 1995–2019 and serving on the State Treasurer Advisory Committee, among other finance-related committee assignments. During this time he was also a member of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), participating in its Communications and Technology Task Force.
As a businessman, Meier operates a farm and ranch in his hometown of La Grange, and formerly owned and operated an irrigation business. He holds a BS in Animal Science from the University of Wyoming.
